The New Snap Shot

Each one of these snap shots capture a moment in time that is worth remembering. “A picture is worth a thousand words,” I say a picture tells a story that words can’t always describe. That story can even differ for every person who was there. Even a person who wasn’t can miraculously get transported there; they can share a part of it. It can cause all different types of emotions such as laughter, joy, and even sadness. A joke can be attached even a historical event. The places we go, the friends, and family we spend time with often get over looked. Everyone should take time to remember those special moments held close to the heart. Don’t let the past be forgotten!

This exercise was challenging for me at first but once I learned to only work on one word at a time I started to get the hang of it. Overall, I think it turned out well even though I would change a few things If I had to do again. It forced me to learn the basic text tools on InDesign the first week of class. Luckily a lot of the tools looked familiar to me from using Photoshop and Illustrator. This was my first time using CS5 and I had to get use to using a Mac again.
